How to Change a Font

  • At the menu at the top: Window>Tool Property (Text) must be checked, click it to do so if it's not already. This is so that the text tool will give you options for font family, size, justification, etc. Why that can even be turned off is beyond me.
  • Click the text tool in the Tools Menu (it's a letter "T")
  • Use the text tool to click a word in your text block.
  • Now command+A to select all the words in the block, or just highlight the words you want to change.
  • Now, with the text tool still selected, go to the Tool Property panel (mine shows up in the panel sets to the right of the interface) and select the font and make any other formatting changes you want.
